None of the tutorials or forum posts ever helped, and wildly ranged in answers. Right now I have some USB speakers, they work fine, but they are a hassle because they take up an extra USB slot and have worse sound.Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have also tried editing /etc/modprobe.d/nf, but to no avail also. On pavucontrol, it just says Speakers (Unavailable). I have tried editing the file in /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/paths/nf but that did almost nothing. I am running Arch Linux, but this isn't because of Arch, because it has not worked on Ubuntu.
